Christmas in the Philippines
For the first time, we were able to spend Christmas in the Philippines. The Philippines starts celebrating Christmas in September, and Annette took the opportunity to decorate. We received a box of gifts and goodies shipped from our parents and family in the States, and we had a Christmas with our adopted family in Manila. Christmas Eve fun, Christmas breakfast, lunch, and games in the afternoon rounded out the holiday. What a blessing to have had this time with the girls.
Nov 11, 2020: Typhoon Damage to Faith Academy
Typhoon Ulysses hit Manila, and stalled, causing high winds and water damage to a lot of the city. Faith Academy sustained physical damage, and here are a few photos to show you. Thankfully, the Lord spared serious damage, and most of it was cosmetic only!
Typhoon Relief
Jerry was able to ride along with another missionary to deliver relief supplies to the village of Buhi, in the Bicol region after a super-typhoon passed over the Philippines. He was down there as typhoon Ulysses hit, and these are some of the before & after photos. Two typhoons hit the same region just days apart!
Quarantine Life - March 16, 2020 to Sept, 2021
